Attorney Chris Hammond joined The Modi Law Firm, PLLC in 2021 after graduating from the University of Houston Law Center. He earned a B.A. in Sociology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

During his time at the University of Houston Law Center, Mr. Hammond participated in the UH Immigration Law Clinic, which inspired him to pursue a career in immigration law. Previously working for another immigration attorney, and then as a law clerk for The Modi Law Firm, PLLC confirmed his desire to dedicate his career to assisting immigrants to the United States.

Before deciding to become a lawyer, Mr. Hammond was a middle school English and social studies teacher. In his spare time, he enjoys watching Houston sports teams, birdwatching, and spending time with his dog. Mr. Hammond is passionate about providing high quality counsel to all his clients.
